Features of HEIWA Neoprene

Heiwa neoprene is highly renowned in the diving industry, particularly for the production of custom wetsuits for freediving and spearfishing. It is appreciated for its high density, which makes it highly resistant to compression at depth, while maintaining excellent thermal insulation and good softness.

Lined Neoprene

What it is

Lined neoprene can be used both externally and internally in wetsuits. It is a fabric with exceptional elasticity, durability, longevity, and comfort, and it is less delicate than smooth neoprene.

Features

The lining adds 4 key characteristics:

  1. Elasticity
  2. Durability
  3. Comfort
  4. Less fragility compared to raw rubber

Available Versions

The lining can be standard or super-elastic. Internally, it can feature:

Open Cell

Raw rubber that ensures excellent adherence to the body and outstanding thermal insulation. It fits like a second skin but requires lubricants to wear and is more delicate and fragile. Available in various thicknesses:

  • 1,5 mm
  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 7 mm
  • 8 mm

Double-Lined

Fabric on both sides, with excellent elasticity. It does not require lubrication and is more durable than open-cell neoprene.
Available in various thicknesses and colors: grey/black, striped pink-purple/light blue, striped yellow-red/green, striped blue-light blue/fuchsia.

Thermal Plush

The internal thermal plush is very durable and retains heat much better than standard lining. It does not require lubrication and is less delicate than open-cell neoprene.
Available in various thicknesses and colors.

Coating

A metallic coating (gold or titanium) applied to the inner side of the neoprene. Very smooth, it allows easier wearing without lubricants and provides excellent thermal insulation. Available in various thicknesses and colors.

Smoothskin

What it is

Smooth is an outer rubber coating similar to skin, offering excellent hydrodynamics, elasticity, and fast drying, but it is more delicate than lined neoprene.

Available Versions

Smoothskin

outside

available in black with open-cell interior, in thicknesses:

  • 1,5 mm
  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 7 mm
  • 8 mm

also available with internal lining in different colors:

  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm

oppure con lo spalmato oro all’interno da:

  • 6 mm

or with gold-coating inside:

  • 7 mm

Open Cell

inside

Open Cell Inside ensures excellent body adherence and thermal insulation. Extremely soft and elastic, but requires lubricants to wear.

Superstretch lined

inside

Superstretch Lined Inside is a highly elastic fabric that does not require lubrication and is more durable than open-cell neoprene.

Kanoko

What it is

Kanoko outer layer is a reinforced lining designed to increase resistance to abrasion and cuts.

Available Versions

inside:

Coating

A metallic coating (gold or titanium) applied inside the neoprene. Very smooth, allowing easy wearing without lubricants and providing excellent thermal insulation.
Available in: 4 mm. Color: black / titanium copper coating

ANTI-CUT

What it is

Special reinforced outer lining, ideal for patches and inserts on professional wetsuits.

Available Versions

inside:

Lined

Highly elastic fabric that does not require lubrication and is not delicate like open-cell neoprene. Available in: 3, 5 and 7mm and color: black anti-cut / light blue lining
