Features of NJN Neoprene

NJN neoprene, which stands for National Japan Neoprene, is a high-quality rubber, highly elastic, with hydrodynamic penetration improved by 10% compared to standard smooth-skin neoprene. Its distinguishing feature is its medium density, meaning excellent resistance to compression—even at increasing depths, the rubber maintains its thickness without losing heat.
We have tested this rubber under high pressure at various points, confirming its effective thickness memory, which guarantees incredible resilience. Therefore, NJN neoprene is recommended both for demanding spearfishers and for freediving and deep diving applications.

CR (Cloroprene) / Neoprene

The rubber used for wetsuits is the most elastic and is made from chloroprene rubber (CR), commonly called neoprene, which offers high thermal insulation.
Currently, CR is the only rubber suitable for this application, but in the future, more eco-friendly materials will be developed.

Jersey

Quality

They maintain strict quality standards in the industry. Every day, each material is carefully inspected to ensure maximum quality.

Superstretch lined

What it is

Superstretch lining can be used both externally and internally in wetsuits. It is a fabric with exceptional elasticity, durability, longevity, and comfort, and it is less delicate than smooth neoprene.

Features

The lining adds 4 key characteristics:

  1. Elasticity
  2. Durability
  3. Comfort
  4. Less fragility compared to raw rubber

Available Versions

Superstretch lined

outside

Superstretch outer lining is available in black, in thicknesses:

  • 3 mm
  • 4 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 7 mm
  • 8 mm

with open-cell inside

or also available double-lined (lined on both sides) in:

  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 8 mm

Superstretch Lined Nebula Camouflage

outside

Superstretch Lined Nebula Camouflage – outside available in thicknesses:

  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 7 mm
  • 8 mm

with open-cell inside

or also available double-lined (lined on both sides) in:

  • 1,5 mm

Open Cell

inside

Raw rubber that ensures excellent adherence to the body and outstanding thermal insulation. It fits like a second skin but requires lubricants to wear and is more delicate and fragile.

Coating

inside

A metallic coating (gold or titanium) applied to the inner side of the neoprene. Very smooth, it allows easier wearing without lubricants and provides excellent thermal insulation. Available in 2 and 3 mm
Color: blue / titanium silver coating

Smoothskin

What it is

Smooth is an outer rubber coating similar to skin, offering excellent hydrodynamics, elasticity, and fast drying, but it is more delicate than lined neoprene.

Available Versions

Available in black, thickness:

  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 7 mm
  • 8 mm

with open-cell inside

or superstretch lining inside in:

  • 1,5 mm
  • 2 mm
  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 7 mm

Open Cell

inside

Raw rubber that ensures excellent adherence to the body and outstanding thermal insulation. It fits like a second skin but requires lubricants to wear and is more delicate and fragile.

Superstretch lined

inside

Highly elastic fabric that does not require lubrication and is more durable than open-cell neoprene.

Mesh Skin

What it is

Mesh skin outer layer is a patterned rubber surface (squares/diamonds) that makes it slightly more resistant to cuts compared to smooth neoprene.

Features

Internally it features superstretch lining, a highly elastic fabric that does not require lubrication and is not delicate like open-cell neoprene. Available in:

  • 3 mm
  • 5 mm
