Features of Nam Liong Neoprene

Nam Liong neoprene represents the excellence of Taiwanese manufacturing. Developed to ensure a perfect balance between elasticity and durability, this compound is the ideal choice for those seeking long-term reliability. Thanks to its high-density closed-cell structure, it provides superior thermal insulation while maintaining good resistance to compression at depth. It is a versatile material, used by leading global manufacturers for wetsuits, surfing, and watersports.

Lined Neoprene

What it is

Lined neoprene can be used both externally and internally in wetsuits. It is a fabric with exceptional elasticity, durability, longevity, and comfort, and it is less delicate than smooth neoprene.

Features

The lining adds 4 key characteristics:

  1. Elasticity
  2. Durability
  3. Comfort
  4. Less fragility compared to raw rubber

Available Versions

The lining can be standard or super-elastic. Internally, it can feature:

Open Cell

Raw rubber that ensures excellent adherence to the body and outstanding thermal insulation. It fits like a second skin but requires lubricants to wear and is more delicate and fragile.

Double-Lined

Fabric on both sides, with excellent elasticity. It does not require lubrication and is more durable than open-cell neoprene.
Available in various thicknesses and colors: navy/fuchsia, black/red, black/yellow, black/white, black/green, black/blue, black/pink, camouflage, etc.

Thermal Plush

The internal thermal plush is very durable and retains heat much better than standard lining. It does not require lubrication and is less delicate than open-cell neoprene.
Available in various thicknesses and colors: black with red, light blue, or blue plush.

Coating

A metallic coating (gold or titanium) applied to the inner side of the neoprene. Very smooth, it allows easier wearing without lubricants and provides excellent thermal insulation. Available in 2 and 3 mm
Color: blue / titanium silver coating

Mesh Skin

What it is

Mesh skin outer layer is a patterned rubber surface (squares/diamonds) that makes it slightly more resistant to cuts compared to smooth neoprene.

Features

Internally it is open-cell, ensuring excellent body adherence and thermal insulation. It fits like a second skin but requires lubricants and is more delicate. Available in various thicknesses:

    • 3 mm
    • 5 mm
    • 7 mm

Kanoko

What it is

Kanoko outer layer is a reinforced lining designed to increase resistance to abrasion and cuts.

Available Versions

inside:

Superstretch Lined

Highly elastic fabric that does not require lubrication and is more durable than open-cell neoprene. Available in 2 mm
Color: black Kanoko / grey lining

Thermal Plush

Very durable and retains more heat than standard lining. No lubrication required and less delicate than open-cell neoprene. Available in: 9.5 mm Color: black

Water-repellent

What it is

In response to international trends and brand demands, the new Aqua-blocking C0 water-repellent technology complies with PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonate) regulations. The water repellency level remains at 70% even after 20 washes.

The water-blocking and water-repellent laminate is suitable for functional swimwear, surf suits, triathlon suits, fishing gear, thermal clothing, and more.

Features

  • Water-repellent
  • Anti-fouling
  • Antivegetativa.
